"Sci Fi 4 Charity" is a group of crazy science fiction fans from the area Bergstrasse/Weinheim, which has set itself the goal
to raise money for children's cancer aid through cosplay appearances at events.
In this way, an impressive EUR 33,000 could be collected in 20 months.
The squad consists of 10 permanent members, but at some events there are up to 200 volunteers.
I came across the group by chance some time ago and I was particularly pleased that they came up to me with the question of whether I could not deliver a collectible that could be sold at events to support this good cause.
Since I manufacture geocoins, pins and geotoken for GEOCACHING, it quickly became clear that a collector's coin would be a very good idea.
When asked. Here is the result.
There are two versions of the collector's coin:
"Limited Edition 2020" in antique silver with a circulation of 200 pieces

"Xtreme Limited Edition 2020" in antique gold with an edition of 50 pieces
Unit price 25, - / donation share 10, -
Both coins can also be purchased in a collector's set.

The motif is the 3D logo of "Sci Fi 4 Charity" on the front and the logo of the German Cancer Aid and the respective unique limitation number on the back.
The coins have a diameter of 45mm, 4mm thick and weigh around 40 grams.
They are delivered in a noble velvet case.
If both versions are purchased in a set, I make sure that both coins have the same limitation number.
So e.g. 25/50 and 25/200
Incidentally, the mentioned share of donations is "carefully" calculated, since we have to reckon that not all coins will be sold.
Production and VAT unfortunately have to be paid. If we sell more than 50% of the circulation, the proportion of donations increases proportionally.
